Experience the best of Samosir in 3 days and 2 nights. From vibrant cultural sites to awe-inspiring landscapes, this trip lets you soak in local traditions, explore sacred spots, enjoy lakeside leisure, and bond over fireside stories. Perfect for travelers who want both adventure and downtime.

Day 1 — Sampean to Sihotang

Your day starts in Sampean, where the calm of the morning sets the tone. As you head toward Mual Sihotang, the view opens up into rolling green hills and deep valleys. The road climbs toward Sihotang Hill, where you take a slow tour along the ridge — the air cool, the silence wide, the scenery stretching out in every direction.

From there, you continue to Hariara Pohan, a sacred tree rising tall and proud, a quiet reminder of Batak heritage. Later, you unwind at Jamars Café, sipping something warm while looking out over the landscape below. As the light softens, you make your way back to your accommodation, relaxed and ready for the next day.

Day 2 — Hills, Views, and Waterfalls

Day 2 — Hills, Views, and Waterfalls

The morning begins at Holbung, where the hills curve gently like waves frozen in time. You walk along the ridges, taking in the fresh air before heading to Love Hill (Bukit Cinta) for a wide, open panorama of the lake.

Next is the dramatic cliffside view of Sibea-bea, a place that feels both bold and serene. Afterward, the road leads you to Nai Sigop Waterfall, hidden between tall rock walls — a cool, refreshing stop. You finish the day with two final viewpoints: Silalahi Hill, overlooking the valley, and the quiet lookout at Bird Hill (Bukit Burung). By evening, you’re filled with that satisfied tiredness that only comes from a full, beautiful day outdoors.

Day 3 — Sidihoni & Tulas Island

You begin the last day at Sidihoni, the lake within the island — a peaceful, surreal spot where everything feels still. Afterward, you head to Saulina Resort for a swim in the clear, cool water of Lake Toba. It’s the perfect slow pause before the day’s finale.

Finally, you take a boat trip to Tulas Island, gliding over calm waters toward a small slice of untouched nature. The island visit is quiet but memorable — a simple ending that ties the whole Samosir experience together. When you return, you carry the sense of space, calm, and culture with you.
